CHILI publish, a Belgium-based company, offers a powerful online publishing engine that can be incorporated into any business associated with printing and digital marketing: from magazine publishing to packaging and labeling.

What?

SPICY talks (2018) is the third edition of an annual customer event aimed at bringing CHILI publish’s users together to talk about the issues affecting the industry. The tagline of SPICY talks (2018) was “Beat the Market Shift”. Global digitalization affects the printing industry, and with the help of SPICY talks, CHILI publish is looking for ways to seamlessly adapt to the changes.

De Nieuwe Liefde. Da Costakade 102, Amsterdam

Goal

The main goal of SPICY talks is to connect like-minded people and create a friendly, intimate atmosphere where they can share their experiences, talk about mutual challenges and learn from each other’s best practices.

Challenges and solutions

  • Amsterdam was chosen as a destination for SPICY talks because of the great accessibility from different countries, which was essential for CHILI publish’s international community.
  • It was important for the organizers to host the event in a building that can be completely transformed and personalized to match the brand style. Amerpodia’s De Nieuwe Liefde, formerly a wine warehouse, and now an inspiring event venue, is a true chameleon. Thanks to open spaces, white walls, and unique architecture of the building, the venue easily adjusts to the event’s style and captures the brand’s identity. CHILI publish made the venue their own by decorating it with flags, floor stickers, signage, and posters, arranging a personalized wi-fi network, and using red lighting that correlates with their brand colors.
  • One of the main requirements for the venue was the abundance of advanced technical facilities. De Nieuwe Liefde is geared with modern equipment suitable for any type of event.
  • Along with the conference space, SPICY talks made use of multiple breakout rooms, dining and reception areas. Light-filled, airy De Nieuwe Liefde created an open, friendly atmosphere and invited the event attendees to spread around the whole building, taking advantage of each square meter.

Results:

The third edition of SPICY talks was the most successful so far: CHILI publish got incredible feedback and plenty of compliments from the guests.
